The meeting was held at US Postal Service Headquarters, 475 L’Enfant Plaza SW, Washington DC. All presentations can be downloaded from the MTAC website.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 1

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am by Susan Plonkey, Postal Chair. Joyce McGarvy, Industry Chair, announced American Catalog Mailers Association as a new member to MTAC. She also introduced new MTAC association executives and representatives. The following proposed 2008 MTAC calendar was announced and feedback was requested so that the dates could be finalized as soon as possible:

February 20 – 21

April 30 – May 1

July 30 – 31

November 19 – 20

THURSDAY, AUGUST 2

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 am by Don Harle, Industry Vice Chair. Members were reminded to renew their USPS HQ MTAC badges if they had not yet done so.

Alixe Johnson, USPS Vice Chair, reminded all that National PCC Day will take place on September 19, 2007. The national broadcast will air at 12 noon Eastern Standard Time. Contact your local PCC to participate in the event nearest you.

Marie Therese Dominguez, the new USPS Vice President, Government Relations, was introduced to the MTAC membership.
