Facility Access and Shipment Tracking (FAST)

The Facility Access and Shipment Tracking (FAST) system allows mailers to provide advance notification of drop shipment mailings into USPS plants. FAST provides Mail Owners, Mail Preparers, and Schedulers enhanced visibility of their scheduled drop shipments at each facility. Mailers are able to track their drop shipments, receive advance notification of redirections, submit and manage recurring appointment requests online, and have joint scheduling capabilities.

FAST interfaces with a number of systems to ensure an efficient drop shipment experience for both Postal and Customer users. Surface Visibility is used to collect real-time data by scanning drop shipments as they move through the appointment closeout process.
