This interactive guide for business mailers provides general information about the National Customer Support Center, its products, services and the significance of Address Quality in today's mailing industry. Also included are links to many USPS forms and publications.

The USPS^® National Customer Support Center (NCSC) in Memphis, Tennessee is the premier resource center for business mailers. The NCSC provides innovative products and services as well as technical expertise to help the mailing industry achieve compatibility with USPS automation goals. Every business that uses the USPS can improve its mailing image and reduce costs by using NCSC products and services.

In 2001, the USPS processed over 207.5 billion mailpieces. Of those mailpieces, 2.75 percent were undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA), which adversely affected delivery of over 5.7 billion mailpieces. This represents a substantial loss of time, money and opportunity for both the Postal Service and for you, the business mailer.

Mailers are encouraged to take advantage of the products and services offered by the NCSC to standardize, validate and update their address databases. These products and services are provided by the USPS, or its licensed providers, and offered to business mailers to manage and increase the quality of their mailings.
