DMM® Labeling List

DMM Labeling Lists contain destination ZIP Codes with the corresponding Postal Service™ facility destination information. Mailer presort services and shippers use Label Lists to properly label trays, sacks, and pallets of mail for delivery. Label Lists are categorized by the type of mail, presort level, and automation rate. Label List data is updated bi-monthly with updates appearing in the latest edition of the DMM located on the Postal Explorer Web site.

Label Lists are also available electronically for customer purchase through the National Customer Support Center (NCSC). The standards for mail preparation are becoming increasingly demanding. Receiving updates electronically reduces the possibility of data entry errors as well as the amount of time necessary to update each change in destination.

Electronic Label List subscribers benefit by receiving revised Labeling List data in fixed ASCII text format that can be easily incorporated into mailers' software or databases. As a courtesy, the NCSC also provides updates to Destination Bulk Mail Centers (DBMC) eligible for entry discounts, Content Identifier Numbers (CIN) table, and ASF/BMC Relationship tables. This product is available for download via the Internet from the Rapid Information Bulletin Board System (RIBBS) or on CD-ROM.

To subscribe to the electronic Labeling List product, download and complete the Labeling List Order Form at ribbs.usps.gov/files/labeling_list and send the original to the address on the order form. To receive updates via the RIBBS Web site, please download the PS Form 8189, RIBBS Web Access Request Form and send the original to the address on the order form.
