AEC and AEC II
Address
Element Correction (AEC) service identifies and corrects bad or incomplete
addresses. AEC uses enhanced computer logic improving the match rate by 30% (historically). AEC II forwards addresses that cannot be resolved
through AEC to the field for resolution based on Delivery Force Knowledge™. Delivery personnel identify and correct address
errors or indicate that the address presented is not a recognized deliverable
address.
AEC
provides the following benefits for mailers: Reduces
mailing costs, reduces undeliverable-as-addressed (UAA) mail and improves
customer satisfaction.
